NATIONAL BANK DOCUMENTARY
With the arrival of the pandemic, I collaborated with the National Bank to produce a feature-length documentary. "One Hundred Year Path," which somehow includes the turbulent contemporary history of Iran. The most important achievement of this project was bringing me closer to these historical events. I was present during the pre-production and production phases as well as the film editing stages as the first assistant director and editor.
The editing of this film started based on the initial versions of the script and in the process of compiling different parts of the script, it was changed and completed. Simultaneous editing and writing with the presence of the director made the narration of the film more fluid. Using archive files along with the produced and filmed images was another difficulty in compiling this work. Maintaining a fluid narrative was very complex and fascinating, despite the various aspects that had to be mentioned about the history of banking and the National Bank.
The process of making this documentary took almost a year.
ATLAN DOCUMENTARY
I’ve started my professional career in documentary cinema. In 2013, I collaborated on a famous project of Iranian documentary cinema called ‘’Atlan’’. As an assistant director and editing assistant, I gained a lot of knowledge and experience in documentary cinema during the three years of making this magnificent documentary.
This documentary was able to shine at several international film festivals and won the majority of domestic film awards. The "Atlan" documentary is about a heroic horse named "Ilhan" who, over time, decides not to race anymore. Ali, who is the coach of "Ilhan," is from a family that has inherited the breeding of the Turkmen horses. Ilhans' trainer is making great efforts to return the horse to competition.
MASIR Television Documentary Series
It took about six months to compile the 26-episode series, which ran simultaneously with production. Every 25-minute episode of the documentary introduces an Iranian who has started a successful business in Iran. The “Masir” explains the Iranian's lives which are successful and depicts a short but important part of their daily activities.
The “Masir” documentary, directed by Farhad Mokhtari, is a 26-episode series produced by the Jam E Jam International channel and also participated in several domestic television festivals.
TARAZ Television Documentary Series
The ‘’Taraz’’ TV series was Edited into 11 episodes with different and pivotal titles of Iranian architecture in 2015. It was broadcast on Offogh TV channel. Due to the great popularity of the audience, especially the architectural community, this documentary was repeated and also broadcast on other channels.
The TV series "Taraz" with the theme of ancient and contemporary Iranian architecture pays attention to the special components and characteristics of Iranian architecture.
